Reward hiked for info on Giants fan's attackers
LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County leaders have elevated the reward for info leading to arrests in the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow.
City News Service says the Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to boost the county’s reward from $ 10,000 to $ 25,000. Supervisors, the Los Angeles Dodgers and other people have now offered $ 225,000 in rewards.
Stow was attacked by two males in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium soon after the March opening game. He’s hospitalized with brain damage.
Police arrested Giovanni Ramirez as the prime suspect but he hasn’t been charged in the case, despite the fact that he was sent to prison on an unrelated parole violation.
His lawyers contend that he wasn’t at the stadium.
